club  (United States)
here is my 2 cents....

I really think we need to establish a voting system......that way everyone (paid and/or returning members) can have a say in everything the club decides to do from selecting lakes/dates to making new rules and in doing so we all stay informed...The Twinports Bassmasters Club has done this for years and it has worked well.

Re: club  (United States)
I would support that also. It's the fairest way to go.

Re: club  (United States)

Absolutely. Plus have an agenda each meeting and stick to it and get done in an hour.

I think that we either rotate the president each year to a new member. Some clubs have a VP/Secretary and Pres. The President runs the meeting, the VP keeps notes and runs the meeting when the President isn't there. Then each year the VP becomes the President and we elect a new VP.

And/Or have a competition committee of three, to handle any complaints, accordingly to our rules.

We should vote on the Pres and/or competition committee, and treasurer.

Everyone should be responsible to recruit new members and keep an eye open for sponsors.

Re: Duluth Bass Club  (United States)

Pete, Has been working on a club layout, and by laws and will either post it here or have copys for folks to go over and discuss changes at the next meeting. If anyone would like to help him in advance im sure he would welcome the help.

I have a rough copy of the layout it looks very good and will address alot of the issues.
