June 17 Island Lake, Duluth, MN - $80/team
July 15 Hill Lake, Hill City, MN - $80/team
July 29 Rush Lake, Rush City, MN - $80/team
August 26 Big Sandy Lake, McGregor, MN - $100/team with a guaranteed $1000 minimum pot.
These are multispecies events and open tournaments. If you want to see what you can do.
We are doing each tournament on their own this year, but are letting the winner of each of the first four into the final tournament for free and reserving spots for the top 3 of each. Each tournament is from 9:00am to 1:00pm, 4 fast moving hours.
As for the scoring it is below. And all gamefish count that are listed, IF they are longer than the min length, only upto the limit. Be sure that you know the DNR rules for the lakes, since we will not be scoring anything you cannot keep. For example on Rush Lake you cannot keep a pike from 24-36 inches so we will not score them, but we could make an exception and score pike from 20-23.75 inches and any over 36 inches, so keep checking the website for updates.

So is there anyone that will step up and see if they are the Ultimate Angler? That's the challenge. You might be good at bass, walleye or crappie, BUT are you good enough on what's biting to win this challenge?
I do wish I could fish it, I would love to. But I will be filming it and scoring it, that should be a blast.
I hope we see you there BeerCan and a lot of the other anglers here. I think someone could just go around the corner, fish a good weededge and catch a few bluegills, crappies, rock bass, a pike and some bass and win it all, with their kid. If you get lucky or are just plain a great angler, either way I think a shot at a $1000 for a 4 hour tournament sounds like fun.

We now have the website up and working. So please check it out. We are going to be awarding the title of "Ultimate Angler" to the team that accumulates the most points over the series.
