Duluth Bass League (Sundays)

Well we just wrapped up our 2007 Duluth Bass League and I am now setting a few things up for the 2008 season.  Right now we have 6-7 teams and we would like to add two or three more if possible.  We fish about every 3 weeks on Sunday mornings from around 6:00 - 12:00.  We fish the Duluth, Cloquet, Carlton, and Moose Lake areas.  We also venture out to GR, McGregor, and Eveleth for an event or two.  We have a friendly and honest crew of guys that for the most part have been fishing together for the last 3 years.  All fish are measured according to length and then immediately released.  The top 5 fish count towards your daily total.  If anyone is interested or would like more info post here or feel free to email me at brian@anglerinsider.com.

Thanks,

Brian

Sounds interesting...  Does a team need to commit to the whole season, or could a team show up here and there?

No, you don't need to commit to the entire year but I would prefer to have teams that can fish a majority of the events.  League fee is $40 per 2 person team which is paid proir to the the league start up.  All the money goes towards end of the year trophies (1st through 3rd) and either some "prizes" or a cook out.  There is no payout for individual events.....just points given out.  There is an optional $5 per boat Big Fish pot also.  Big Fish must be photographed on a visible flat ruler showing the length.

The league is based on fun and we started it to make us all better bass fisherman.  After the events we site around and bs about what worked and what didn't.

Let me know if you want some more info and I can get that to ya.

Thanks,

Brian
