Lets try to get a few of these teams to the classic this year, last year was kind of a poor turn out for all the leagues in this area. You would think that a few duluth or superior teams would be competive and want to come give it a go.

Good idea twich. A friend of mine fishes a multi league in Duluth every Wed night. I'll have to tell him about the classic, as well as the ultimate angler this year.

Its to bad that we can not think of a way to find a complete list of every league in the Duluth area.  I know of a few or have heard of a league but have never contacted them.  I am sure that all members of the MMTS family know of such leagues.  Lets start a topic or what ever, of the leagues the we know of or have heard of .  Maybe Doug can start something on the Forum.  I will start a new Topic to list the team that I have heard of and then anybody can add to it.

Russ (MG) was talking about having a get together at his store for all the leagues in Duluth. Just a bull sh-- session and maybe some fac reps and so on.  I told him I would try and get info together

Maybe we could talk Marine General into sponsoring a "Duluth Bass Classic".  The winning team (or top two teams) from each of the local clubs would move on to fish the "classic".  I know of at least 3 bass leagues here in Duluth that could be involved.  I guess even if MG wasn't interested in doing it we could always put something together.
