How's the year going?

I know that a new group can be fun and still a learning thing.  Everyone is a new face and the fishing week to week interesting.  I think the best part is the commitment to get out each week.  I know I stop each night after running around, getting out of work in time, getting bait, everything ready, ...  then say to myself..  "Hey I'm fishing."  Man that feels like I won every night.  Plus over time, the competition and meeting other anglers, has made me a better angler myself.  You would have to pay a ton more money for a lot less time with a fishing guide, pro or some other way to do it.

If anyone is looking for tips or tricks or even just ideas what to look for on each lake, be sure to post out here.  There are many good anglers out here that can point you in a good direction.  And this network of good anglers is the main point of a fishing league.  I don't know that everyone knows just how good a network we have really is.  We have the top teams for many of the old leagues and fishing organizations in town in our current members and alumni.  They are have placed highly in all area tournaments for walleyes, bass, catfish, multispecies, etc. And have come from Muskies Inc, Duluth Area Fishing League, Twin Ports Bassmasters, Angler Insider, Fishing Minnesota, etc.  Some members even drive down from International Falls, or up from Moose Lake or Two Harbors to fish with us.

We really do have a great group of anglers in our mix, I hope you meet them and learn from each other.  There's a lot to learn and we can all get a lot better at our favorite sport.

Good luck and great fishing..
