I'll double that.  Welcome and we are looking forward to hearing all the new fishing stories.

How's the deer hunting going?  I saw the couple in the gallery already, very nice.

Well my hunting season is official over--- No deer this year, I could've went fishing and got a couple.  Had two bucks jump in the lake and swim across the lake.  I season ended a little early. I hunt near a public acces to a lake. The DNR made some major improvements to this access this fall.  Curb and cutter, pavement, sod and signage. Well people have been going down there and vandalizing the place. The father of the family I hunt with went and pulled a sign out of the lake the someone tore down and threw in the lake. Today while I was sitting in my stand i seen two four wheelers drive down to the access and one started climbing the hill which have new sod. I got out of my stand and made double time over there. I got there just in time to take a couple pictures with my digital camera. It just make me sick,  The DNR spents money, that all sportsman a contribute to, to fix something up and people just have to destroy it before anybody has a chance to see.  I just want to had these weren't kids.  One fella was in is sixties the other was in his fifties.

It make a person wonder, what goes through some people's heads?  I hope that the DNR gets those pictures and decides to do something about it.  One of the great things about fishing and/or the outdoors often is the people that do these activities tend to be just plain good people.  That's what makes the actions of a couple of jokers like you mention that much less tolerable.  As a fisherman, I sometimes get lulled into thinking that nothing is going to happen to my stuff, because 99 out of 100 people are extremely respectful, but that 1 idiot wrecks it for everyone.  Ashame that that had to happen.  I am glad that you were able to witness their jackassery and hopefully you will swing by there next several weekends and see those two no minds resodding the place

Yeah I really get upset with people doing that too.  We were out scouting our hunting area this weekend to plan next years hunt and that means keeping the occasional atv out too.  We'll have it posted a lot more next year and a gate in place.  Then we'll have a hunting shack right there and start planting.  But like that public access you invest and all it takes in one or two bad apples and people just get upset, big time.  I hope they throw the book at them and make them repay the state for it.  As a whole I think we have as many good as bad folks in the outdoors as anywhere else.  But I think outdoors people respect the outdoors more then others, we're in it and understand it more and earn a respect for it.  I don't think these guys think about anything but them selves.  I have no respect for that.  I am glad you took the time to get the photos and hopefully these learn a lesson from it.  I have digital cameras too and would do the same.  k

Thanks Terry..
