We'll be doing some sat. events for 6-8 hrs. might be more worth the drive down for one of those.

Take them camping to Schroeder Park on Cedar Lake, Just outside of Annandale. Great lake for fishing, Really nice beach for swimming, We'll have one event close to cedar. It is a nice campground, I would camp there, but its only a mile from the house.
If you look at the WCFC fishing club photo gallery, the picture of Me with the 4 walleyes came from there on a Friday even in about a 1.5 hr time frame. IF the walleyes are biting out there your in for some fun.
