Very cool.  Cats are a great fish to start with.  They grab and want to keep it.  I see she handled the fishing rod all alone, now that was great coaching and a nice fish.  Great job.

Had a good day on the Lake with Hank, Griz and Glen(behind the camera)--- Probably the last day of the ice season. Spent a few days out there with these guys, and Hartner(who put us onto this lake) this was our best-- 9"-9.5" bluegills with a couple over 10"

I was looking at the Star Tribune this morning and came across the fishing section.  There was a big picture of a guy with a grey beard that looked familiar, and then I read his name was Griz!  Soon as I seen his name, I knew where I had seen him before.

Honestly, I know nothing about him.  Is he a professional fisherman or something, or was he just lucky to get onto the cover?

And how do you know him Robbo?

Griz is a professional guide. Just inducteed in the Minnesota and National Fishing Hall of fames this winter.

Hank (In the Middle of the picture) is a coworker of mine. He and Griz are next door neighbors. We Did alot of fishing together this past winter. Both love fishing panfish and I offered to show them some spots in wright cty to catch some nice fish.

DP,

I keep the rod in a Rod Holder(Hard to see) works pretty good. I learned how to use the video on the wifes digital camera. Were going to head down this evening and shoot some video of the girls catching them. Hopefully get something I can put on the site.
