I Hope I don't ruin it, But what a great night to be on the lake. WCFC fishing wrapped up week 2 and the fishing was a little better this week.

The Team of Matt and John used a Sub this week. Subbing in was Talyor.  Taylor was a good addition to the Team as they pulled in two nice Walleyes. One was a 25", and the other was a 26", Plus they added a 24" pike to bring the team 17 pts for the night. Wasn't about numbers from them, just catching quality fish, "CONGRATS" Matt, John and Taylor. (We will be adding pictures later).  The Liprippers spent the night looking for Pike. They were able to put 5 measureable pike in the livewell, but the size was just not there, they were able to come up with 6 pts for the night for second. The rest of the field targeted the panfish, but seems they must have moved out of there spawning areas.

Again, it was a great night to be on the lake. With the bass opener this weekend, I'm sure were going to be seeing alot different scores next week.

Next week will be on Pelican Lake. I'm sure were going to see some 30"+ Pike and 20"+ Bass.

Week 3 brought out some high Points for alot of teams, The pike were active. Some used multispecies to gain pts and some kept to what was biting.  The Liprippers came out with top honors for night, the with 17 Pts. They brought in a limit of Pike for the extra limit pt. The Pike they brought in measured 21", 23", 27", 28", 28", and finished with a 29".  John had to use a sub again tonight has Matt is out of town, But was able to bring is team a second place. They came back to the landing with 3 species and a nice 29.5" Pike.  Chris and Andy also came in with a multispecies bag, but also came in with a WCFC record Pike of 30.75" Pike. Tieing Chris and Andy for the night was the Team of Joe and Roger. They also went the multispecies route and brought in a Couple bass and a few measureable sunfish, but it was there smallest fish of the night that brought them a tie, a 5" sunny to get them the smallest fish of the night pt. Again it was a beautiful night on the lake.  Our first Tournament is Sat. We have made a little change to the start and finish time. Due some Grad parties, we will be starting at 7am and going until 1pm.

Well It was another nice night to be fishing. Sunnie,Calm, and on the lake, Great night. I can't give exact sizes, as my truck went in for hail damage repair today and the fishing stuff is in the truck.  Anyways, Chris and Andy kicked some butt, last night. They came in with a limit of bass, some good sized ones too. C&A ended the night with 21 pts (League record), to go along with the limit of bass was, smallest fish, a good sized 3.5" sunfish.(another record)  I'm wondering if they used the net for that hog.

John and Matt were at the top of the board again as they came in with 11 pts. The rest of the field had a tough time putting fish in the boat.  We were seeing the bass up in the shallows in the lily pads, but just couldn't get them to bite.

Sugar Lake will be up next week.  Remember 24"-36" protected Pike slot. Muskie will be opening this weekend. I will be out there and sounds like All-In will be coming to net fish for me-- Thanks for helping Ryan.

It was another great night to be on the lake, even though I couldn't fish. I don't have the total in front of me, but Chris and Andy pulled off another great night o take 1st place. They brought in a limit of bass along with a nice 29.5 Pike. Team All-in worked there tails off but fell a couple pts short and ended up in 2nd Place, They were able to bring in a limit of bass also, but were missing pts in the multispecies category.

We will be Fishing Francis again Sat. for our Tournament- Start time will be 7am and Finish time will be 12 Noon. Hope to see you all there.
