I am stressing about just getting the boat uncovered and ready to fish

For a while tonight, I was wishing I had just taken the cover off and left it at that! I ran into a couple snags, but after a couple beers, it all came together! They're all lined up and ready for me to secure and finish off. Here are some pics of where it's at now..

It's amazing how much of a difference it makes. Just sitting in the seats feels way better, and I won't have to crouch down anymore to get out of the wind! I ended up moving them back 7.5 inches, which should be nice when fishing on the bow. This pic shows the difference...

Great pics!  Did you do the metal work yourself?  If so, hats off to ya.  They look fantastic!

I will be looking for the rig on the water the first night.  Did you repaint the boat?  If so, what type of paint did you use and how did you apply it?

The metal work is all the original stuff. I'll be doing some small metal work on the sides of the consoles to secure them, but not much.

I repainted the boat a few years ago and honestly, just used spray paint. It's put many hours on the water, been parked at docks and against rocks, it's stored outside in the winter, and it still looks decent.

As for applying it, I washed the boat and wiped it down a couple times with paint thinner to take any greases off. Then, I went over the whole boat with a DA sander. Taped it off, wiped it with paint thinner again, sprayed it, added some lettering, and hit the water.

Here's what it looked like before...
