i wanted to say hello and introduce myself. my name is Brian Huff , I am from Dennison, Ohio. I am not sure who invited me to join this board but i am glad you did. Thank You  for the invitation. I run a small multi-species fishing club in Tuscarawas County Ohio. we have around 30 members each year. we hold catfish tournaments and multi-species tournaments every weekend throughout the summer. i have found it very interesting how you all run your tournaments and your points championship. You seem to have a AWESOME GROUP. Me and my wife Renee love fishing for channel cats and flathead catfish in the local river and lakes, we also enjoy bass fishing (smallmouth & largemouth both), crappie fishing and fishing for saugeyes.I also run several LARGE fishing groups on yahoo.  you are all welcome to check out my multi-species groups site on yahoo  groups at the link below.

Hi Brian and welcome to our site, we are glad to have a fellow multispecies angler.  I am glad you like our site and points system.  It has taken us a long time to figure out the system we have and we are happy with it now.  But as you know, like fishing there is always something to learn and try.

I think your tournaments sound very interesting too.  I know that I belong to the fresh water group and several others on yahoo.  There is always more fishing to do and to talk about.  Besides we are all learning and that's the big reason for the tournaments and leagues, as well as this site.  I would really like to learn the differences and similarities of fishing Ohio and Minnesota.
Minnesota catfishing is a great family past time. Duluth Minnesota area, upper St. Louis River fishing.
My family and I love to fish catfish and all the other fish you listed.  Maybe we need to add groups for fish species, so we can talk about them.  I would like to see if there's some more tricks I can pick up and get better.  Maybe we have a few you haven't heard of to.

Thanks and we will be talking out here a lot, comparing notes and fish stories.
