Well finally a good reason, in addition to seeing the fish at Underwater Adventures, to go to the Mall of America. I think Bass Pro Shops would be a good call. Here's the article if you want to read it.

I'm really excited about the possibility of getting a bps in the mall of america. i can't wait to got to the indor achery range.
i can see a problem though like they don't carry ice fishing gear.
and i would feel bad for the new cabelas in rogers.
I hear ya. I think Bass Pro Shops will be a great addition. I really never saw much to go to the Mall of America, except for Underwater Adventures and the stand up comedy place. That's really it. NOW an outdoors super store.. count me in.
I know that this will start a war between the Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops, but in the end it's the sports people out there that will benefit from that. They will keep prices lower, to compete with each other and we all get more good deals. I have only been to the Cabelas in Rogers once, I don't know why they didn't get more in the cities, Rogers just doesn't seem the right spot. But then I went there and it is a really good store. Then again look at Owattona and they are doing great in a big field. I am just glad we have more shopping options for us outdoors folks.
Both are still to far to drive to though. I heard of maybe a Cabelas in our neck of the woods, Cloquet or something around that area. Now that would be sweet!
But another big outdoor store is a nice addition. Gander, Cabelas and BPS in the cities now makes me feel better about driving down to the cities for other reasons.
