Sat was a very slow day.
today I really wanted to go out, it rained here till noon and has been snowing ever since
Next weekend ill be out again, I hope the nice weather hangs around!
Yeah it was slow, but we caught fish.
Hey how often do you get rained out on Dec 31st??? This is the first it's happened to me.. Northern Minnesota, we're supposed to be getting snow now, not rain day and night. Yuck.. That isn't doing much good for the ice. When it freezes it will be good.
Keep us posted, I might be able to fish for a little while, but not sure yet. Good luck fishing..
What a mess this rain did to the area lakes I was out early this morning.
I made my way onto the lake thru a few inches of slush but a managed to get 2 keeper carp and 4 crappies!
Mostly I helped a few people raise there shacksand got a few leads!
All the landings down this way are slushy what a mess they will be when they freeze up!
