Sounds great Joe, if you can get out, let us know.  We'll help you get going.  The walleyes and saugers are going to be prime time, so you should be able to break that personal best, unless we really miss up or mother nature throws us a curve.  But we should get into some deep water saugers either say and some wing dam eyes too.  It's a blast and not too bad to do.

I know the shop deal, I have two props in being repaired, yeah they took a beating last year and this year they are going to see more water and some of it is shallow.  If the fish go shallow my boat better take it.

Keep in touch and we hope to see you on the water soon.  You maybe able to get into one of our boats to see what we do too.  You will have a great time.

My problem is getting the boat out of my yard. I sold my escalade a got a full sized conversion van. So no 4x4. Yard is to muddy and sloppy to get the boat out to get it over to the shop for them to get it done on time.

I just tried for the last 2 hours again. Ended up getting the van stuck twice. I have never had this much problem with mud and I have parked it there for the last 5 years.

The trim on my motor is leaking or somthing. Or a seal is bad. When I tilt the motor up it slowly falls back down. That is not something I want to be fighting while being on the river.

Other then that I am ready to go.

My son always helps me with boat and motor repairs now.  We may have a spot in the boat open, depends on how things go.  I am coming down fishing either way, so keep in touch.  We could get you out for a while or the day, we usually fish all day when we make the run.  Besides we have places lined up already too.  So we are going to be on the river all day Sat. and most of Sun.

I know the mud thing.  I am a little worried about my yard, but I do have a 4x4 truck and that's the babe that will be pulling it out.

Doug-

My wife was able to get Saturday off so it looks like I can make it for the day on Saturday if you still have a spot open in your boat.  I'll try to give you a call later today.

Yes I have a spot and one on Saturday is yours.  Do you have the directions to Everts?  It sounds like thats the spot the Patience Team is launching from, so I will too.  I haven't heard from anyone else yet.  But AquaJoe and the Flymaster are thinking about it.  But I am fishing Sunday by myself at this point, but I think I can figure out how to do that.  ;)  Unless one or both of them can fish that day.

Well glad to have in the boat on Saturday, now to put some fish in the boat.  I think we will find one or two any way.  Plan on pitching jigs with ringworms, deep vertical jigging 1/2 to 3/4 ounce jigs with minnows for saugers and walleyes and possibly 3 way rigging for a bit.  Those are the three techniques I am planning and I have caught fish on all but the ringworms.  I think it's time.
