Red Wing Walleyes in Apr.
 (United States)

Alright, anyone done this?  Fish walleyes and saugers in April at Red Wing?  I did a few years ago and loved it.  I feel pretty good with the deep vertical jigging for BIG saugers and had several over 4 pounds, some over 5.  That was awesome.  But the little I tried ringworms, I didn't connect on a walleye and they are the ticket, since they are fat and extra heavy with spawn.  I want to get one of them this year.  Does anyone have any tricks or tips that could help me land that monster eye?  You can email me off-line if you prefer.

BFishNTackle.com has some good ringworms and super doos, plus the hooks for them and an instructional video to boot.  I have bought them and will let everyone know how they sound and look.  If they help and I get some walleyes on rings, we'll post the pics out here.  See ya Team Patience, Team TGIF will be on the water stocking BIG EYES...

The trailer has new bearings, the boat new batteries and on board charger, new ringworms, hooks, ...  We will have the rods and reels tuned and with new spiderwire to wrestle the big ones.  See ya on the water and bring a camera, we will be.

I looked at the standings for that weekend, but I let twitch give the news.
