anyone get one this year ive been out twice,  had a few nice follows and some larger pike but not a muskie in the boat, hopefully next time anyone finding the active fish??

I've been out 4 times this year so far 4-5 hour long trips and have boated 1 40", missed 2 others, and saw 10 others.  So it's not going as good as last year but still I can't complain I guess.

The muskie season is off to a pretty good start for me.  I have put six fish in the boat thus far and have seen quite a few more.  It seems that the fishing really starts to pick up as soon as July rolls around and then continues to be good all the way through November.

Every year I also catch a few walleyes casting for muskies, but this year has been crazy.  I caught four walleyes this week in the shallows ranging from 24 to 28 inches.
