Which lake has the big Muskie in it? Any predictions?

Alright which lake or river do you think is the best for big muskies?  Here's my picks and predictions..

I think that the St. Louis River is a good water, but not a ton of big muskies.

My picks for big muskies are Mille Lacs, Lake Vermilion, and Leech Lake in Minnesota.  In Wisconsin it is still the Chippewa Flowage.  My prediction is that Mille Lacs or Lake Vermilion will produce the next pig.

What do you Muskie masters think?  Maybe we should arrange an outing to a great muskie factory and see what a group of us can do.  That would be fun.

No master by any means but I have the same picks here for MN and WI on where the big one may come out of eventually.  As far as world wide  I would say Lake St.Clair or possibly Georgian Bay would be the best bet for a record.

That would be really fun to do sometime.  I'm sure everyone would learn a ton from others.

I think a late season outing is needed and we'll spread the word.  This would be a lot of fun and who knows, we should see some muskies, maybe a really big one.  Mille Lacs or Vermilion?  I am leaning towards Mille Lacs for the first time.  I know of a few guys I want to talk to about doing this.  All very good muskie guys, like you.

Theres no way I can argue with mille Lacs or leech, and I've been to the chippawa flowage for walleyes and muskies. Though i didn't get a muskie i still think that it has great potential.A couple more lakes would be lake of the woods or rainy river, Cass, and my wildcard goes to Minnetonka. I had a mounster muskie come after a little walleye. i had the walleye to the surfice and then i see a 45inch+ massive muskie follow it!

Lake of the Woods and Cass are both definite possibilities.  Good calls.  I haven't heard that much about Minnetonka, but that's the kind of lake that could have a big one in it and not get the pressure for that.  45+ is a monster any place.
