Muskie27's net is for sure big and works great to keep the fish in the water until ready to measure and release it. Great stuff. I have to agree with his choice of muskie nets.
On my little fish, I didn't happen to have the muskie net in the boat, we were crappie fishing, so that was all we had. We had it in the water twice and no go. But then again I am not likely to catch many that size on that type of gear. I think growth is a good thing on muskies or any big fish. 49 >>. 50.... 51 hey if the taxidermist says it's 51, I am there. But the photos and measurements were recorded, so getting away from that.
