Possible scoring change

I have been looking at scoring our fish on a length to weight conversion.

LxLxL divided  by 1600=Pounds         example:12x12x12divided by 1600=1.08

We will measure fish to the nearest 1/2 inch for scoring.

I myself feel that this will have alot less impact our fishery.I also feel that this is in the best intrest for our league to help sustain a healthy fishable population of bass in our area!

I am not saying that this is whats going to happen but just something to think of!

Please let me know what you think.

I think that this would be awesome.  I'ld vote for it.  So the total weight would be based on fish by fish the length to weight conversions.  I like it.  Safer for the fish and looks better for all of us.  The fish will be back in the water faster and not laying high and dry on top of each other waiting for the bag to stop bouncing.  I didn't like having them out for too long and buying the scale to weight them in water is too expensive.

I am all for it.

I dont really like the idea of switching to length.  Each fish is different.  It would be really unrealistic to find two 15 inch fish with the same weight.  What happens it a guy pulls up a really fat 15 inch that ways just as much as a 16 inch bass.  Should that team bee penalized just because the fish is not as long.  I believe that pro tournament and even amatuer events do weight for a reason.
