If anyone is having a hard time finding bigger fish for the up coming lakes go deep the docks will hold a few fish but most will be out in the weeds just a little deeper the fish will return to the shallows in the evening so being on the docks for the last hour or so may not be a bad plan. Some teams have expressed that Chub lake is a little small for the teams to fish but from my experience this lake has more fishable water than others we fish and 1st place should take over 8 lbs which isnt that bad when looking at other lakes in the area.Remember after next week we are fishing every other week.

Good luck to all this thursday!

A-group will be on Big

B-group will be on Chub

Jake and I post an 8.20 bag.  We finished well down in the pack.  I couldn't stay buttoned on a couple big bites I had on topwater during the last hour.  We found our fish shallow in the weedbeds.  I was pitching a Senko and then also swimming a swimsenko on the outside edge.  I knew I would get the big bite on top but it was just one of those nights where I couldn't stay hooked up.  Dang.  I think 10.95 won it.

Great job Mike and jake an 8lb bag is very nice for a few hours of fishing. Thanks for sharing some of the baits and techniques that you guys were throwing.

Remember every dog has its day and RATS do too!

I think that top water was a great choice in that last hour not to many people try that on leagues including myself.I havent thrown top water this year or last on a league night.I had a great top water pattern working for me last year while prefishing for one of our lakes but on league night the wind blew and that was it all that work down the drain but I had one of the most enjoyable days of fishing that season.
