Fishing League home page for FREE
If you are starting your own fishing league or club, and want a home page online for FREE, then contact:
Doug Pirila, doug@duluthbass.org, phone (218) 390-9973.
We add a couple pages here and give you a public and members-only forums. If you have a domain name, we help you connect it to your pages and you have a website that can be found for free.
If you prefer a full website of your own, Fishing Webmaster will sponsor your fishing league and get you setup with a site, like www.DuluthBass.org for the low price of $200/yr. That covers the out of pocket costs and all the disk space and bandwidth you like. Fishing Webmaster is sure that after you see how easy you make the changes to your pages you will pass that on to anyone looking for a website for business or personal use.

Tonight was another cold one as summer weather continues to elude us. Fishing was better this week with more fish being caught than the previous three weeks. Congratulations to Mike & Bob who won first place and got the big fish award with a 11.5" Crappie. This was the first time we had used panfish for the big fish award and it seemed to work out. Next week we are off and then resume fishing on June 23rd at Island Lake. See you then and remember to patronize our sponsors as summer fishing kicks in!

Another cold night on the water. There was not much warmth in the 20 plus MPH wind of the lake. Rich and his son, Garrett (Walleye Pirates) got the only walleye of the night which got them the big fish award. Bob and Mike were wishing the big fish award was for bass as they got 3 very nice fish from 19"-19.75". The Big Dogs won by getting a mixture of fish including some nice crappies. Next week we are on Fish Lake and will launch at High Banks Resort. Hopefully summer will show up so that a cold beer will taste good after fishing! See you at High Banks next week.

Another cold, miserable night. I hope summer shows up soon! Fishing was slow for a second week in a row with most teams struggling to find fish. Congratulations to Mike & Bob on a nice mess of fish. They won tonight by a wide margin and picked up the big fish award with a 18 1/8" small mouth to boot. Rumor has it that they had a lot more time to fish with Bob not falling out of the boat tonight!

DAFL News
4/15/11
A final schedule was prepared and budget was finalized. Bob Carson will be the Treasurer this year. The league approved bonus points for a limit of fish/species:
3 pts = Limit of: perch, bluegills, crappies
7 pts = Limit of: bass
10 pts = Limit of: northerns
15 pts = Limit of: walleyes
Score sheets will be modified and handed out when we meet on Rice Lake.
It was also decided that the penalty for being late will be a 20 point deduction. The measuring boats will be the official time-keepers for the night.
The Bait Box has become a sponsor for the league this year! They will be providing gift certificates for the biggest fish awards.
The updated schedule has been posted.

UAC BASS Club
Hey folks, we need to get everyone that's interested in a chance at qualifying for the Minnesota B.A.S.S. Fed State Tournament of Champs (TOC) signed up NOW. We need the memberships into the State within weeks. So call me and arrange a way to get your membership to me OR bring it to our next meeting the first week of April.
JOIN THE UAC BASS CLUB NOW - earn a spot to fish the 2012 MN BASS Fed Tournament of Champs on Island Lake Reservoir, Duluth MN.
We have a great opportunity for anyone ever wanting a chance to see what they can do with bass in our area. With the 2012 TOC coming to Island Lake Reservoir, Duluth, then the North Regional to Lake Vermilion (rumor has it) in 2014, if that's the case, the 2013 TOC could well be on Lake Vermilion. We need to represent our area for this great chain of events...
